Good
I just received this unit. It's only February, so I won't need it till April. I've been reading the assembly instructions. Looks like I can hook it up. Hoping it works well when I need it. Last summer was soooo hot. It seems easier than the window unit that I had. Putting it in and taking it out. We will see. Nice to pay through Affirm.

WARNING: Trips 15 amp breaker in humid conditions
My home office gets hot because the sun beats down on that side of the house during the later part of the day, so picked this up to help keep the room cool while I work. Not sure what they did but this thing will trip your breaker when it is humid out... Worked fine for a couple weeks but now with humid weather it is tripping the breaker randomly and consistently. This is a brand new house so definitely not an issue with electrical. I even tried plugging it in by itself on the 15 amp circuit and it still ends up tripping it if it is humid out. Again, this did not happen at all before we got humid weather and now it is completely useless. I even tried emptying the water tray and cleaning the filter (which was clean since it was only 10 days old) but it still trips the breaker. It's possible I just got a lemon so I will be taking it back to exchange and see if problem persists.

    I LOVE IT!
I bought this because I was sick of dealing with the heat in my apartment that has no central air conditioning — and it was the best purchase I've ever made! It was very inexpensive and simple to use and it keeps every room that I put it in so cool! I use it every single day. It's not the quietest, but then again, what air conditioner is? It does the job it's meant to do! It's also very neat that it's also a dehumidifier and it has a built in continuous fan feature as well. It lets you know when it needs to be drained (it collects water from condensation) and it doesn't need to be drained that often. I drain it every 3 days and not that much water comes out, so I'm sure you could go longer before you drain it. It's super easy to put together and take apart to clean. When I tell you this is the best purchase I've made recently, I MEAN IT! 10/10.

    Works good
It works for small bedroom. You will need a bucket for water collection and put ac unit in a small table. The sound is a bit louder than a normal fan. It gives you all necessary items like hose. Great option if you dont have an option to install the ac in window.

    Works well! What a difference!
This little unit is worth every penny! It really makes the bedroom cold! Can be attached to vertical or horizontal opening windows.

The A/C MIDEA unit, partly happy customer!
Be very weary of shipping, the A/C MIDEA unit I purchase was almost returned same day! On top of box, specifically says do not lay on side., ( have picture) the box was laying on its side on my porch?! How long was it on its side in trucks all the way here? The box it was shipped in was destroyed (have pictures) was afraid to even open it, thought it was damaged! Well it was 95 degrees in my house with an 18 month old baby! So I made the choice because of the heat to open it! It had some scratches on it, but the box look like it's been through some rough stuff getting here! When I ordered I know I have a 1 yr warranty, but was never asked for an extended one! Would have been nice with the way it was man handled all the way to my home. Not sure how long it's going to last!

    Very nice indeed
If you're looking for a room a/c, this is the popular one. As far as I can see, it is a contained freon. It certainly isn't some water bottles you toss in the fridge. I got this for gaming as well as sleeping. The new video cards are super hot %26 if you have one, know they push out about 86-125° F of air. This Midea portable room a/c takes that away %26 sends it outside (with extra fan). Leaving the room pretty comfortable. This unit is room size. So not super huge, but does a great job in about two hours depending on the air temp. It will shut off once the room reaches the temp you set it at, default is very cold 62°F. This I know from sleeping %26 it shutting off. Thought I blew a fuse. What I have a hard time with is keeping the exhaust plate in the window. I have to get an additional bracket to mount it to the wall. I have to purchase more hose to have it mounted elsewhere, but that's my problem. I haven't had any water issues as yet, but do see that is going to be a facecloth or towel deal once it happens. The hose they ship, really isn't useful for draining that I can see. Both drains are the same set up, so that's nice. I want to point out that the water hose comes folded in the box, so that's not great. It's "appreciated" but should be on the side with the window bracket, not in the instruction bag. Rolling it along the carpet, any carpet is a challenge. The wheels are too little for that. Hard stuff, there isn't a problem. Bottom line, this works fine %26 the honey wants one for downstairs. If it's shipped to you on the side, let it sit correct for a day. I see the "freon" is contained, but so is my fridge %26 I had to leave that for two days if it was shipped sideways. No one does that, do they? The box says two hours if you bring it home. I got the second one %26 love having it downstairs! It doesn't look used. This unit does look "used". Shipping can be a bear, so I brought the second home myself, seeing they had a bunch.

Great, but theres more you have to do.
A life saver for the upcoming summer. Nice cool rooms now. Strong fan and adjustable speeds using the remote. Portability is a major plus instead of putting a heavy a/c in another window. Just make sure you place it on a pan, elevate it a few inches on something and use the hose included to catch all the water from the humidity! Gotta run the hose from the bottom drain hole and run it to another container.
