Upload Digital Photos - Overview
There are several easy ways to add the photos stored on your computer to your Photo Center account, including photos stored on a camera or flash memory card attached to your computer.
  • You can also send us your pictures from your mobile phone, PDA or by email and then add them to your account.

There is no charge for uploading your photos with these methods. (If you are sending photos by phone or PDA, your service provider may charge airtime or data charges.)

If you don't have access to the Internet, you may bring a memory card or photo CD to the Photo Center in your local Payless Daily and upload your photos for a fee.

Please note: There is no charge to store or share your uploaded photos, and no limit to the number of digital photos you can upload.

Using Express Upload
Whether you use a PC or a Mac, you can use our Express Upload tool to add photos to your account. All photos must be in JPEG file format. You can also upload a zipped file of JPEG files. See File types below for more information.

Follow these steps to add photos to your account with Express Upload:
  1. On the homepage, click the orange Upload Photos button in the blue box on the left of the page.
  2. Next, either create a new album for your photos or select an existing album.
    • If don't have any albums or want to create a new one, click the button next to Add to a new album. Then, add an optional album title (your album title will default to the upload date if you don't change it). Click Edit Album Details if you'd like to edit the album date or add a description.
    • If you're uploading to an existing album, click the button next to Add to an existing album. Click the button next to the preview image of the existing album you want to upload to, then click Select this album.
  3. If you want, you can edit your upload settings. Click the arrow next to Upload settings to customize your upload settings. Once you've made your selections, click the Select Photos button to continue.
  4. Next, you'll see a pop-up directory to search for and select the photos you want to upload. Select all the photos you want to upload, then click Open to start the upload process.

Note: To select all photos in a folder, click Ctrl-A on your keyboard

  5. You'll see a progress bar tracking your photos' status as they upload. To add more photos to your current upload, click the Select more button. To remove a photo from your upload queue, click the "X" next to the preview image in the upload details tab.
    • While your photos are uploading, you can email or share them with friends without disrupting your upload. Use the email, link sharing, or social network links at the right of the page and follow the prompts to start sharing.
    • You can also order prints of your photos while they're uploading without disrupting the upload. Check the Add these prints to cart box at right to add all photos in your upload to the cart. You can modify your order once upload is complete.
  6. Once all of your photos have been uploaded, you'll be taken to a new page. From there, you can view your uploaded photos, share your album, upload more, or order prints of your photos.
